Goofs
You can see yellow ear tags on several of the rein deer's ears. These tags are a modern way of identifying ownership of the rein deers. The traditional way of tagging rein deers was to cut unique markings in the rein deer's ears.

In the first scene that the great landscape is shown, we see the rein deers in front on the top of the mountain. Underneath a great lake, and on the lake down to the right there is a small boat (you can really see its waves moving from right to left).

Q
I saw that the 3 main actors are all named Gaup. This is a popular common name on Norway or are them from same family than the director, Nils Gaup?
A
It's not a common family name in Norway as such, but it's very common among the Sami ethnic minority. Seeing as the Sami population (at least those who consider themselves Sami and have Sami family names) is very small, it's not unlikely that they're also related, however.
