Q
A Note Regarding Spoilers
A
The following FAQ entries may contain spoilers. Only the biggest ones (if any) will be covered with spoiler tags. Spoiler tags have been used sparingly in order to make the page more readable.
Q
What is the drumlike instrument being played when the leprechauns are partying in the tree-bar?
A
It's called a bodhran.
Q
In what part of Ireland was this movie filmed?
A
It wasn't filmed in Ireland at all but on the Ashridge Park estate, about 20 miles northwest of London. Ashridge Park consists of some 5,000 acres of fields, hills, and woodlands, much of which is held in the National Trust. Other locations were used in Devon and Cornwall in the far south west of England. However, the storyline is set in Carrick, a small village in County Donegal in the North West of Ireland.
