Goofs
Towards the end of the movie, when they came out of the tunnel thing at the nuclear plant, Lundgren asked where the nearest International Airport is. The response was to the effect if they crossed the border at Cornwall, then Montreal International was the closest. First off...the airport at Montreal, at the time the movie was made was called Dorval not Montreal International. (It has since been renamed Pierre Elliot Trudeau International) Secondly, if they crossed the border at Cornwall, the nearest International Airport would be Ottawa International, about 1 - 1 1/2 hours from the border.

Q
What are the differences between the German/HongKong Version and the original R-Rated Version?
A
In Germany and in HongKong a different cut of The Minion was released that features a new prologue that can't be found in the original R-Rated Version. On the other hand the alternate cut misses out several plot and action scenes that are featured in the R-Rated Version. A detailed comparison between the German/HongKong Version and the R-Rated Version with pictures can be found here (showing the scenes missing in the R-Rated cut) and here (showing the scenes missing in the alternate cut).
