Trivia
This was the only time in the history of "The Incredible Hulk" live-action TV series and its three TV movies, that the Hulk wore his trademark purple pants from the comic books. It occurs in the dream sequence when David Banner is being questioned on the witness stand and he ends up changing into the Hulk.

Banner's first name was changed to David because producer Kenneth Johnson found alliterative names unrealistic. Banner is played by Bill Bixby, who has just such an alliterative name. The other superhero appearing in this film is Daredevil, whose real name is Matt Murdock--also alliterative.

This film contains the first live-action appearances of the Marvel Comics characters, Daredevil and The Kingpin.

Goofs
Just before David Banner first changes into the Hulk in the subway train, Ellie Mendez is being bothered by Wilson Fisk's two henchmen, Benny and John. John calls Benny by his name, but Benny doesn't call John by his name until after David has changed into the Hulk. Near the finale, when Daredevil and David break into Fisk's building, David tells Daredevil he recognized the man from the subway and that "the other guy called him 'John'." Since David has no memory of his time at the Hulk, it would be impossible for David to remember hearing John called by his name when he was the Hulk.

David Banner: [Opening titles showing flashbacks to the Pilot episode experiment and transformation] In each of us there lives a kind of beast... made of rage. Years ago I used science to study this beast... to bring him out of me. I used gamma radiation to release him... but I used too much... far too much. Now the beast is out of my control... emerging whenever anger stikes. My name is David Banner... the world thinks I'm dead... I travel alone... I try to keep the beast caged within myself...
