In casting there was a rigorous auditioning process, and Alexander Andreou and Tom Burton were not dedicated to Liza Calinicos and Monica Migra, until he saw them working together, playing off each other's reactions.

Alexander Andreou did not eat while directing, with the exception of a halloumi sandwich.

Costume lady Ghisline Denissenko and production manager Louise Harris were responsible for tying up Liza Callinicos and Monica Migra.
