Trivia
Guitarist Orianthi Panagaris states in an interview that she received an invite to audition for a spot on the tour via MySpace. When she showed up to audition, Jackson and other producers asked her to play the solo from the song "Beat It." After playing the piece, Jackson approached Panagaris, took her arm, and asked if she could play the solo walking across the stage at a specific speed. When she responded she could handle the assignment, Jackson hired her on the spot.

In 1983, Paul Anka co-wrote with Michael Jackson the song 'I Never Heard', which was retitled and released in 2009 under the name 'This Is It'. This was not noted in the film credits, although it has been confirmed by Anka on ABC's The View (1997).

The footage was originally intended for the private library of Michael Jackson. It was also to be used to help the concert's creative team analyze, review and alter aspects of the show before completion.

Q
Is there anything after the end credits?
A
Yes, it only lasts a few seconds, but there is one more piece of footage shown (with sound) after the last song.
Q
Were any body doubles used in the rehearsal footage shown ?
A
Sony music has confirmed that NO double was used to show Michael Jackson on stage. Everything you see Michael Jackson perform on stage was Michael Jackson himself. Joe Jackson had not seen the movie when he spread the rumour.Source: http://www.tmz.com/2009/10/26/this-is-it-producers-no-mj-body-doubles/
