When the news was announced the role of Spider-Man would be recast, a major push by fans had the character Miles Morales be the subject of the new films. Miles Morales continued on the role of Spider-Man from Peter Parker after the death of his character in Ultimate Spider-Man: The Death of Spider-Man.
