"The Dewey Cox Show" airs on CBS. During a rehearsal, Dewey complains that his show is getting beaten in the ratings by "The Incredible Hulk." The Incredible Hulk aired on CBS, so it could not be in competition with "The Dewey Cox Show."

What are the differences between the R-Rated theatrical version and the Unrated version of the movie?

Two versions of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story have been released on DVD simultaneously: The R-rated thetrical version and an Unrated version that runs more than 24 minutes longer than the theatrical version. In total, over 76 changes have been done for the Unrated version and it is definitely worth a look. You can find a detailed comparison between both versions with pictures here.
