Trivia
For the scene where Freddy kills Jennifer, his line in the script was "This is it Jennifer, your big break on TV!" Robert Englund said this line for the first two takes, but on the third take changed it to "Welcome to Prime Time, bitch!" Director Chuck Russell couldn't decide which version to use, so he edited the two together.

When Taryn is first seen in the hallway she's wearing a Dokken shirt. Dokken wrote and performed "Dream Warriors" for this film.

The shirt Taryn is wearing in the beginning has the cover art of Dokken's 1984 album, 'Tooth And Nail'. 'Tooth And Nail' contains 'Into The Fire', a track that can be heard on the radio in some versions of the film.

Goofs
In the scene where Will is dreaming that he is the "Wizard Master" (right before he actually transforms into the Wizard Master), you can easily see the cable which pulls the demonic wheelchair down the hallway toward Will.

When Freddy's arms come out of the TV set and lift Jennifer into the air, one of her slippers can be seen falling off her foot. However, when Max comes in and sees her body hanging from the TV, both slippers are still on her feet. (May not have been intentional, but this could easily be explained by the slipper falling off in a "dream" and not in "reality".)

After Kristen wakes up in front of Freddy's house, you can see the children jumping rope and singing rhymes, yet none of the children's mouths are moving. However, it's possible that the singing was merely intended to create a surreal atmosphere on the soundtrack and not interpreted so strictly.

Q
What happened to Jesse from part 2?
A
Jesse Walsh, the main protagonist of the second film, does not appear in any other film in the series so his final fate is unknown. However, Dr. Gordon mentions to Nancy that they "lost a kid" from their institute to another asylum and he cut off his own eyelids to stay awake from his dreams. Jesse seemed to still suffer the nightmares at the end of the sequel, so this implies that the "kid" may actually be Jesse Walsh, though this is never confirmed. Also, in the documenty 'Never Sleep Again", some of the people involved with the film express their ideas of what his fate was. The actor whom portray's him thinks he survived, or "he didn't go to burning man". Another person involved believes Freddy killed them all. In the end, it's left to the watcher to come up with their own ending for Jesse.
