Icebergs reportedly formed in Miami's harbor. Icebergs aren't formed. They are large hunks of ice broken from ice masses or glaciers.

The people who went out of the INTER SCI building should have been frozen solid since the temperatures were extremely low. Their suits were not enough to keep them warm and to insulate them from the extreme temperature.

Once absolute zero (-459.67 degrees F) is attained, all gases and liquids turn into their solid states. In that most gases liquefy before hitting absolute zero (Carbon-Dioxide at -109.3 degrees F, Nitrogen at -209.9 degrees F, Oxygen at -368.77 degrees F), the Earth should be flooded by its liquefied atmosphere before turning solid once absolute zero is reached.
