'Agni Sakshi' is the second remake of the Hollywood film 'Sleeping with the Enemy'. The first remake being Yaraana starring Madhuri Dixit and will soon be followed by another remake called 'Daraar' starring Juhi Chawla.

Agni Sakshi, Yaarana & Daraar which were released back to back were based on Hollywood thriller Sleeping with the enemy.

Madhuri Dixit was approached for the role of Shivangi in Agni Sakshi. But she turned it down as she was busy shooting Yaraana, which was also a remake of Sleeping with the Enemy.

In the last scene outside the court, Manisha Koirala is talking to Jackie Shroff when he is shown wearing a blue stripped shirt but when Nana Patekar comes to them after snatching the gun from the inspector, suddenly Jackie is show wearing a plain white shirt.
