Trivia
The story of the game is somewhat based off of the original concept story of Alien³ (1992) where Cpl. Hicks and another team of Colonial Marines discover a top secret research facility by Weyland-Yutani that is focused on using the Aliens as Bio-Weapons.

Goofs
Captain Cruz continually refers to himself as "Sephora Actual," and later "Sulaco Actual," however this is incorrect for a number of reasons. Commanders are referred to by their unit's designation followed by the numeral 6. The company he is in command of seems to be designated "Rhino," so CPT Cruz should be "Rhino 6." Assuming there is no Navy crew manning the ship and Captain Cruz is the commanding officer of this ship as well as the company, he could conceivably be "Sephora 6." The term "actual" is only used in radio communication to inform the other end that the person speaking is that person, and not a radio operator relaying the message. Captain Cruz would refer to himself as "6 Actual," while his radio operator would refer to himself as "6 Romeo."

Q
Who is Michael Weyland?
A
Michael Weyland is the current CEO of Weyland-Yutani. The Bishop androids are made in his likeness. At the end of the game: The surviving marines take over his personal shuttle and Hicks shoots him in the head. Revealing that he is yet another android, albeit a special model. He is dressed the same as Bishop II in Alien 3, however that Bishop had red blood. It's likely this was intended to be revealed in the sequel.
Q
How can Cpl. Hicks be in the game if he died in Alien 3?
A
Hicks appears at the very beginning of the game in a video log aboard the Sulaco. Later on during the game:Winter, O'Neal and Bella go to rescue a captured marine that was supposedly from the Sulaco. It's revealed to be Hicks (Michael Biehn). Which brought up the question as to how he was there, seeing as how he was killed during the EEV crash on Fury 161. Hicks then reveals that he was awakened out of cryosleep when the Sulaco was experiencing trouble over Fury 161 because he was the highest ranking officer and only Marine on board the ship at the time. Hicks discovered that the Sulaco was being taken over by Weyland-Yutani mercenaries who in fact have been living on the Sulaco unbeknownst to the Marines during the entire time during the events of Aliens. Hicks did not go into details of how it happened but he admits that the body in his cryotube was that of a mercenary. In the film Alien 3 you see a mangled corps that cant really be identified; the only way the prisoners on Fury 161 thought it was Hicks was because the data from the Cryotube said it was him. The films also show how Weyland-Yutani loves a good cover-up.
Q
Which characters from Aliens will be returning?
A
Bishop and Hicks have been confirmed that they will return. Hudson, Drake and Apone appear as playable characters in the multiplayer section of the game.
