The bombs that Professor Sandborne detonates in the lab supposedly destroy the entire lab, but it's clearly obvious from their explosions that they only flash brightly for a moment, and are pretty much contained to their respective cells. Their flames don't even touch Sandborne or the Lion.
In the backstreet scene where Joe meets Alicia, then fighting the ninjas, one of them was throwing a shuriken (ninja star) at Joe. In the next scene, the shuriken is already tagged on the door, the sound effects added afterward, Joe's ducking and then Alicia screaming.
Car chasing scene when a ninja gets dragged, you can see that his uniform gets torn apart, causing him bruises on elbow and knee due to friction. When the ninja reappears on the hood several scenes later his uniform is totally OK.

In the old UK-VHS several fight scenes were slightly censored due to the usage of shurikens. By now the movie has been released completely uncut in Britain. Nonetheless a detailed comparison with pictures can be found here.
