In one of "The Truth" puzzles that Ezio unlocks in Florence, there are pictures of world leaders throughout History who are holding the Apple; a piece of EDEN that helped establish their power base. George Washington was one of the leaders pictured. In Assassins Creed 3, there is a sequence where the main character Ratohnhaké:ton experiences an alternate reality where George Washington becomes corrupted by the apple, turning into the "Tyrant King."

Goofs

In "Last Man Standing", as Ezio walks into the square, his family stands on the gallows with their hands free. When we cut to the cut scene, however, their hands are tied behind their backs.

In the first Assassin's Creed Lucy is supposedly missing her ring finger. In Assassin's Creed 2 Lucy has all ten fingers. However, it is unlikely Lucy actually has a missing finger as the practice was eventually phased out of the Assassin rituals. More likely, Lucy simply bent her finger to symbolize to Desmond that she is on his side.

While at the hideout, Desmond seems to insinuate that he's never had any experience as an assassin. However, in Assassin's Creed, Desmond retorts Dr. Vidic's statement that "he's an assassin", saying that he "doesn't do that, not anymore." Desmond also lived amongst assassins during his early years, it's only safe to assume that Desmond has some experience as an assassin, unless, as the story states, he ran away from the commune too soon to learn anything valuable.

What is Ezio's relation to Altair?

They're both ancestors of Desmond although they're of different bloodlines and not related to each other, this has been confirmed by the programmers and writers

Does Altair appear in this game?

A

Yes, you also get to briefly control him in the "Dream" sequence which only occurs once in the story.

What is the point of unlocking Altair's armor?

A

Altair's armor is the only armor in the game that completely indestructable and will never break or need repaired regardless of how much damage Ezio sustains.
