Trivia
Early in the film, Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz) is looking at a magazine spread of celebrity "red carpet" arrivals to decide what breasts she wants after her implants surgery. The photos are of Heather Graham (2010 Golden Globes); Katy Perry (2010 Vanity Fair); and Rose McGowan (2010 pre-Oscar dinner). In real life, Cameron Diaz also appeared on the red carpet at all three events.

While her character eventually decides not to get breast implants, in real life Cameron Diaz underwent an augmentation procedure a few months after the film's release.

Of the movies Elizabeth shows to her middle school class, two of them are rated "R": Dangerous Minds (1995) and Scream (1996).

Goofs
Elizabeth is seen collecting cans from the school in order to pay for breast implants. Illinois does not have existing container deposit laws, however, Elizabeth could have earned money through selling the cans for their aluminum value to a recycling center.

Grading the students' papers, Miss Halsey marks Tristan's essay test as "Stupid point Misspelled" circling the word "layer" (which is lawyer without a W). However, she misses the more obviously misspelled word "lawer" (lawyer without a Y), and overlooks the use of "whose" instead of "who's".

At the beginning of the film, Elizabeth Halsey speeds backwards violently past a school bus and makes a sharp turn leaving visible tire marks on the ground. You can see tire marks on the ground before she creates them and were probably created in previous takes.

Q
What are the differences between the Theatrical Version and the Unrated Version?
A
As usual, the home media release contains an Unrated Version which is being announced with "extra raunchy footage" on the US cover. And even though there are lots of dialogs that are much ruder in the Unrated Version (among other words, she drops the C-Bomb) and there's also a sexual background now like the "not really having sex" sex scene with Timberlake and Diaz most of the Extended scenes aren't really worth mentioning and feel like deleted scenes that were put back in the movie. Overall the Unrated Version is approx. five and a half minutes longer than the Theatrical Version and a detailed comparison between both versions with pictures can be found here.
