It was so extensively hot in Purulia in March, that the Anjan Das fell ill for 3-4 days and work got hampered. Indraneil also fell sick.

The last scene involving fire was the most difficult to shoot as more than 10000 local villagers gathered to see the climax. The illiterate drunkards created a mess throwing stones at the crew and when the shot took place they encroached deliberately into the frame and tried to break the camera.
