Trivia
The scene where Karen and Deacon are talking about the cure for vampirism initially ran a bit longer and answered the question of how the vampires would feed if everybody was turned into a vampire. They would keep some humans alive in giant blood bags to harvest them. The bags can still be seen in a doorway during the scene, and later played an integral part of the plot in Blade: Trinity (2004)

David S. Goyer explained in the DVD commentary that when Karen Jensen wakes up at Blade's hideout after her attack and rescue by Blade, the script had her discover a jar with a vampire baby in it. The baby would be alive and used by Blade and Whistler as a guinea pig for testing out weapons to fight vampires. The studio however found the concept to be disturbing and refused to allow it.

Kris Kristofferson's character Whistler was created for Blade's cameo on the Spider-Man (1994) cartoon show. He was liked so much by Marvel CEOs that he was adopted into the Marvel universe.

Goofs
When Blade collapses nearly unconscious out of the blood collection chamber, his hands are at his sides. When he hits the floor, they are above his head and help support his fall.

When Deacon is talking to Karen in the Edgewood Tower before Blade arrives the box of Camel cigarettes in the bottom left corner changes positions throughout the scene.

Q
Where can I get all of the songs heard in the film?
A
By following this link, you will find a video that covers every scene in the film that contains music. Everything from the Techno, Ambient to Alternative Rock songs heard directly in the film (not the album) are given in this documentary project. You will also find links to albums that have the extremely rare techno songs that never made it onto the movie's soundtrack album.
Q
What kind of car does Blade drive?
A
1968 Dodge Charger. (Although all '68 through '70 Chargers share the same body! Only the bumpers, lights, and various trim-- which the automobile industry refers to as "cosmetics--" vary from year to year.) More info on this car and the other vehicles seen in the film is here.
Q
What is the name of the band singing in the Japanese schoolgirl scene?
A
The band is the Osaka group, "Bang Wa Cherry", its two members being Kuriyama Kyoko and Takahime Mesuko. The band's official web site is here (an 4:14-long mp3 of the song can be downloaded from there), and their MySpace page is here. Bang Wa Cherry is unsigned, has no albums available, and apparently no other songs (at least recorded ones) other than the performance of the above-mentioned song in Blade. They are, however, reported to occasionally do unpublicized club appearances in the Osaka area.
