Trivia
The real-life Women's Institute members (Angela Baker, Beryl Bamforth, Christine Clancy, Ros Fawcett, Lynda Logan and Tricia Stewart) on which Calendar Girls is based all appear as members of Highgyll W.I. in the scene in the marquee at Knapely Show where Rylstone and Highgyll are competing for cookery prizes.

Goofs
When Chris gets her pictures back from being developed, the shot of her topless behind the fruit bowl does not match her position when the picture was taken.

When Chris and Annie are running to the National Conference, the phone call to Chris' husband says 'we will be back for the press conference tonight'. The time on the clock on the Palace of Westminster says about 6:30, and the sunshine is evening sunshine. When they get into the conference, they are on for 'the last open spot of the morning'.

Q
How does it end?
A
Chris joins the girls in Los Angeles. They go on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Chris accepts an offer to do a laundry detergent commercial to finance an American version of the calendar. However, they have to be nude in the commercial, and Annie storms out of the shoot. They return home, right to a W.I. meeting. Chris's husband isn't mad at her for leaving to Hollywood and spending a lot of time around the calendar. She and Annie don't have to do much to make up. The calendar has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds.
