Owing to the stronger subject matter this was the only Carry On to receive a 'AA' (now '15') cinema certificate, preventing audiences of under 14 from seeing the film. All other Carry On films have been certificated as suitable for all ages, although the 'A' certificate did require children to be accompanied by an adult.
