Q
How many different versions do exist of this movie?
A
There seem to be four different versions, based on two cuts. First of all there is the Theatrical Version. In the States the movie was released in cinemas with an R Rating, likely slightly censored in scenes showing nudity. In Europe, for example, the uncensored "International Theatrical Version" was shown. Later on a Director's Cut was released that features approx. 15 minutes of new footage. A detailed comparison between the International Theatrical Version and the Director's Cut with pictures can be seen here.In the States all newer editions on VHS and DVD include this R-Rated Director's Cut version that still misses out on 3 short scenes. Unlike Germany, the movie still hasn't been released in a fully uncensored Unrated version in the USA. A detailed comparison between this newer R-Rated Version and the Unrated Version with pictures can be found here.
