The blonde survivor that Alissa asks whether or not she has a boyfriend is Nicole, Isaac Clarke's girlfriend from the "Dead Space" videogame, which takes place after "Downfall".

At the very end, as Vincent's lifeless body is floating through space, her hair is fluttering in the breeze. Although space is a vacuum, a huge amount of atmosphere from the ship is being vented, which would create enough of a "breeze" to flutter her hair. Furthermore, any latent vibrations or rotations in her body would provide enough kinetic energy to flutter her hair, as seen in the US flag from the Apollo moon landing.

It is clearly seen about 18 minutes into the movie that Jen slices her throat; a large gash is shown with blood spilling out. A few moments afterwards, Barrow is seen rushing down the hallways with Jean's body in his arms. It is shown that Jen's throat has no blood - in fact, it's not even cut.

Just before the end of the movie, Vincent records her final words about the artifact, the current state of the crew and the creatures on board. She then downloads it onto a distress beacon and shoots it into space, just before the Kellion arrives. However, the Kellion doesn't actually arrive until about two days after this point, it is simply filmed this way to connect the end of the movie with the beginning of the game.

Ramirez: Hey, Vincent, you know why I really took this job?

Samuel Irons: [last words] Holy creatures, transform me into your holy servant. Show me the path to enlightenment as you alter my flesh, and free my soul.

Dobbs: There's a lot of blood in this room, but no bodies.
