Goofs
When Doug reaches to the pier at the beginning of the movie, the camera makes a shot that shows the ATF sticker and the month/year sticker located at Doug's car front window. The ATF sticker is below the month/year sticker, but at the end of the movie, the ATF sticker moved a couple of inches to the right side of the month/year sticker.

Agent Carlin discovers the evidence of blasting caps washed ashore at 1245; he returns the call to the victim at 1318 (1:18pm). He seems to do quite a lot in those 33 minutes: investigates the surface and underside of the Crescent City Bridge, visits the police department to notify them that it is a crime scene, gets a cup of coffee there (by inquiring the location of the coffee pot), drives back to the ATF office, and attempts to reach his partner.

During Claire's autopsy, just before Doug takes her photo with the Polaroid, her mouth is completely closed. In the next shot and in the photo, her mouth is slightly open with her teeth showing.

Q
Who was in the gator tank at Carroll Oerstadt bayou bait camp?
A
It is not Agent Larry Minuti. Carroll Oerstadt killed and burned Larry Minuti in the bayou but then dumped him in the river to make the death look as a result of the ferry explosion, a similar MO to what happened later to Claire Kuchever. Evidence supporting this theory: when Agent Doug Carlin is investigating the bayou scene in the present, he mentions nothing about the body found in the gator tank. Plus, why bother burn Larry Minuti if Carroll Oerstadt is going to feed him to the gators anyway. More on this theory: in the beginning of the movie, when Doug Carlin hears a similar ring tone to his own device coming from inside a victim's body bag, that was Larry Minuti in that body bag. He's a colleague of Doug Carlin and probably has a similar work cell (with a similar ring tone) that he uses on the job.
