Goofs
At the party in Madea's front yard, Helen tosses a drink in Orlando's face. A few drops of the drink get on Orlando's t-shirt. The next time Orlando is seen, however, his t-shirt is drenched in the front.

At the beginning when Charles takes Helen home after the party they are in the car arguing. In the majority of the shots, Helen's fur wrap is low on her shoulders with her shoulders and necklace showing. In one shot it is way up around her neck covering everything. Then, it is back to the more revealing position after that.

When Orlando arrives in front of Helen's job, it is pouring raining, once she gets in his truck and they drive off, it is clear that his windshield wipers are not on yet the rain is continuously coming down hard.

Q
What words does Orlando use when he proposes to Helen?
A
Orlando says: "I know you don't believe in fairy tales butut, if you did, I'd want to be your knight in shining armor. You've been through so much. I don't want to see you hurt anymore. Now I may not be able to give you all that you're used to, but I do know I can love you past your pain. I don't want you to worry about anything. You just wake up in the morning. That's all you have to do, and I'll take it from there. There's one condition...you have to be my wife."
Q
She's "black" because she's African-American, but why is she "mad"?
A
Helen McCarter (Kimberly Elise) is mad, in the sense of being angry, because Charles (Steve Harris), her very rich District Attorney husband of 18 years, just packed all her things in a U-Haul truck, tossed her out of their mansion, and moved in his mistress Brenda (Lisa Marcos), forcing Helen to go live with her grandmother Madea and Madea's brother Joe (both roles played by Tyler Perry).
