What is the Bite of '87?

In the game, "The Bite of '87" referees to an incident that happened in a Freddy Fazbear pizza restaurant in 1987 where one of the anamatronic characters bit off the entire frontal lobe. As of 2015 it still isn't known who the victim of the bite was but it's widely speculated among fans that the victim was Jeremy Fitzgerald the night guard in the sequel, "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." It's also likely the victim was a child patron at the restaurant that day.It's also not yet known which anamtronic character was responsible for the Bite of '87, many fans speculate Foxy the Pirate due to the broken jaw as well as the fact his attraction is always closed and out of order. Other theories suggest Freddy as one of the rules listed states, "Don't touch Freddy." This rule may have been enacted after the Bite. There are also two instances of faint handprints or hand-shaped impressions on Freddy's face, implying that someone may have been struggling against him. When does the game take place?

While the sequel "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" shows the game is set in 1987, the date of this game remains unknown as your final paycheck the year is blotted out. Given your wages of $120 and comparing them against Federal Minimum Wage standards (assuming again the game takes place within the United States) it's possible the game is set in 1993, 1999, or 2004 as all three years had November 12 land on a Friday. It's also possible it is set in 2014 when the game was released and Freddy Fazbear has a work around for paying Federal Minimum Wage.
