Huey (Dennis Hopper) says, "You can't just go to your local video store and rent Easy Rider (1969) to be a rebel." Hopper directed and starred in "Easy Rider".
John Buckner tells Huey that his mother spun silk on a wooden loom. A loom is for weaving yarn not spinning it. She could have "woven" silk on a wooden loom. Silk is spun on a spindle or a spinning wheel. Both a spindle and a spinning wheel can be made of wood.
When Buckner and Walker board the train (in Oregon), Stark asks Sheriff Hightower where the next stop is. Hightower replies, "It's across the border into Canada." Washington State lies between Oregon and Canada; it's very unlikely that the train would bypass Washington state.
John Buckner: You want to know why, Mr. Walker? Because from here to Spokane, you and I are joined at the hip. You do what I say when I say it. You don't even take a piss without me watching. If you try to escape, I'm authorized to stop you any way I see fit. Do I make myself clear?
