First shot of the film was made during the boat fair 'Allt För Sjön'/'Everything for the Lake' at Älvsjömässan, Stockholm during its opening day March 3rd, 2006.
In an interview just before the opening, Janne Loffe Carlsson said he was glad this movie finally was made - after 25 years of questions from fans following the first, very successful movie. "This will shut them up," Carlsson said.
Every time the TV-camera crew in the film is in a place safe for a camera the crew uses high end cameras. But as soon as the camera is threatened by water and such, it suddenly transforms into a cheap old VHS-c-camera.
