The Lover

Micah Sloat, Daniel Percival, Ian Rose, Philippe Bas, and Stuart Sinclair Blyth were considered for the role of "Mark". When location changed from England to Berlin, the producer decided to cast Michael F. Stoerzer for the part.

This was supposed to be the first Vivàsvan film, but production came to a halt in January 2004. Schneider then produced Deed Poll (2004) instead. From the first draft of the script until its release in 2008, it took more than five years to finish this film.

Andre Schneider dubbed himself for the French version of the film.

Mark: Anyone who refuses to accept that love can change or leave or die is an idiot. Period.

Angel: Mark, what would you do if you came face to face with the murderess?
