When writing the confession note on the bathroom wall, he draws the happy face on the wall. During the wide view of the note, the happy face is different.

At the end when, Melinda is getting in her car and saying her goodbyes to the Sheriff, the camera jumps between two angles and the window on her car keeps changing between being all the way up and almost all the way down.

In the beginning when Keith is on the telephone with the RCMP "colonel". The RCMP does not use the rank colonel. The ranks of the RCMP are noncommissioned members Constable, Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Staff Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major, Corps Sergeant Major. Commissioned members Inspector, Superintendent, Chief Superintendent, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commisioner. The commission that Inspector and above are queens commissions like the commissions in the military. Most member get commissioned after Staff Sergeant, but members are eligible for a commission after they make Corporal.
