QWho sent the Dementors after Harry?
AThe issue isn't thoroughly addressed in the film, except for Professor Dumbledore's suggestion that it may have been Voldemort. The book addresses this puzzle differently: it is revealed that Professor Umbridge sent the Dementors to attack Harry in order to silence him, as he kept insisting that Lord Voldemort had returned.
QHow does the Order of the Phoenix know that Harry is at the Department of Mysteries?
ABecause Harry tells Snape, "He's got Padfoot at the place where it's hidden!" Snape initially feigns incomprehension so as not to alert Umbridge, but he knows that "Padfoot" is a nickname of Sirius Black's, and that the "place where it's hidden" is most likely the Hall of Prophecy at the Department of Mysteries. So he alerts Lupin, Tonks, Kingsley, Dumbledore, Moody and Sirius to get there quickly.
QWhat is 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' about?
AHarry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), and Hermoine Granger (Emma Watson) return for their fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Having warned the school about the return of Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), which the Ministry of Magic has declared to be a lie, Harry is not surprised to find that a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton), has been assigned to the school and that it is her aim to seize power at Hogwarts, get rid of headmaster Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), and squelch all rumors of Voldemort's return. Consequently, Harry is charged with secretly teaching the students how to defend themselves...even if it goes against the rules.
