In the movie Giovanni Ribisi speaks a quite good italian. Every native italian could tell his accent and his pronunciation are sometimes a bit off, but the overall performance is convincing.

Goofs
Crewmembers are briefly reflected in the front of a train as we see the main characters walk away from the train. Specifically, look for a man in a red tee-shirt.

The train shown when Filippo and Philippa arrive in Tuscany is not compatible with the passenger car seen from the inside in earlier shots.

Quotes
Philippa: I don't want to escape punishment. I've killed four innocent people and I want to answer for that, but before I do, I want to kill him.

Helicopter Pilot: [in Italian supervising simulation] Follow the terrain. Good. Keep it perpendicular to the ridge. That's it. Under real conditions you might have to compensate for the wind here. Now, maintain you height. Watch your height, careful.

Philippa: Why did you change the plan?

Q
Is there a sequel to this movie?
A
Yes and no. The writers of Heaven, Krzysztof Kieslowski and Krzysztof Piesiewicz, had laid the outlines for a trilogy by the name of "Heaven, Hell and Purgatory," where this movie is the first. The "sequels" are called L'enfer (Hell) and Nadzieja (Hope, but had working title of Purgatory). The movies in the trilogy are thematically related, but there is no continuation of characters or story and so should not be considered "sequels."
