QHow can I find casting calls for House of Cards?
AThe new Netflix political drama "House of Cards" is now in production in the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C. areas. The casting directors are auditioning actors in New York, Los Angeles and Baltimore/D.C. for guest starring, recurring, and day player roles. In addition to the acting roles, many extras are being hired throughout the season. "House of Cards" will be based on the BBC miniseries of the same name. That original BBC version was based on a novel from British author Michael Dobbs. Netflix has ordered two seasons of episodes.Details Here:Netflix "House of Cards" Auditions and Casting Callshttp://www.examiner.com/article/new-netflix-series-house-of-cards-casting-calls-baltimore-md2012 Actors Resource Guide eBookshttp://www.actorsresourceguides.com
QIsn't this based on (insert name of American political figure here)
AIt is an adaptation of a series of British books written in the late 1980s. The author is a former British political figure. If anything, it (and the BBC series which followed) is based on British political figures.
Q*Spoiler* Why doesnt Tusk name Frank in his confessions?
AMy assumption is Tusk believes he will get out of the charges and is kind of accepting Frank's offer at the ballet. After Tusk comes out of the courtroom he assumes he will be cuffed and as they are walking away Dunbar and his attorney's are already talking a plea.I think he feels cornered in that hearing and being a businessman, decides to take a less riskier side, i.e. Underwood expecting him to grant him pardon when he inherits Presidency.
