Is this a real Pink Panther film?

Yes, technically this is the third entry in the Pink Panther series of films following A Shot In The Dark.While original series creator Blake Edwards and star Peter Sellers were not involved, the movie was produced the the Mirish Corporation and released by United Artists just like the others in the series and screenwriters Frank and Tom Waldman also worked on subsequent films in the series directed by Edwards.
