The film was originally filmed as Woh Mili Thi.

Shashi Kapoor did a film titled Anari in 1975. A song from that film was edited out from the final cut. The song was a part of Anari's released LP record also. Years later the producer of Kaun Hai Khooni added that song to this film to add star value. Thus Shashi Kapoor making a special appearance in the film.
