The name of the saloon cantina was "Marguerita's" named after it's owner Marguerita Ventura (Lainie Kazan). Interestingly, in Divine and Tab Hunters' previous film, Polyester (1981), Todd Tomorrow (Tab Hunter) takes Francine Fishpaw (Divine) to an "intellectual" drive-in theatre showing three Marguerite Duras movies.
