In the beginning of the movie when the train comes into the station and the commuters get on to go to New York City, the train they get on is actually going in the opposite direction, towards the beach.
There were so many scenes that didn't make it into the movie that Jonathan Demme decided to place them at the end during the credits to sort of retell the story.
