INSIDE JOKE: Shortly after Maria Corvier (Cyd Charisse) storms off, a man tells her assistant that he would like to meet her and is told that he is out of luck. The man is played by Tony Martin, Charisse's real-life husband.
"It's Fun to Be in Love" (music by Nicholas Brodszky, lyrics by Sammy Cahn), performed by Dan Dailey, Betty Lynn and George Chakiris was cut from the film. The soundtrack recording was finally issued on the last "That's Entertainment!" CD set.
"You Got Looks" (music by Nicholas Brodszky, lyrics by Sammy Cahn), sung by Lena Horne, was cut from the film. Horne made it a staple of her nightclub act for the rest of the decade.
