Trivia
This film was completed in 2007 and was set for a Febuary 2008 wide release in theaters. But due to Yari Film Group (the film's distributor) filing a Chapter 11 protection (Bankruptcy Code), its release was pushed back close to a dozen times, and was then finally given a straight-to-DVD March 2010 release in the United States.

Q
Why was this film released straight-to-DVD?
A
The film was originally supposed to have a wide release in theaters in Febuary 2008, but was then pushed back because the production company faced financial issues. It was announced for a October 2009 straight-to-DVD release and many other series of dates after that. The film kept switching from a theatrical release to a straight-to-DVD one and had been pushed back close to a dozen times. This is all due to the production company Yari Film Group fileing for bankruptcy. Yari kept trying for a theatrical release and there then was a rumor of a wide release in theatres on March 12, 2010. It was soon changed to a straigh-to-DVD release on March 9, 2010 and is now available in stores.Article about Yari Film Group's bankruptcy issue."Yari Film Group's releasing arm has been hit by a series of events, and began what it calls a series of substantial layoffs . Facing the wrath of four creditors, producer/financier Bob Yari was forced by a court order to put his releasing outfit into Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, although he said his separate production operations were not affected by the filing.Yari says the company also got hurt by the implosion of payroll provider Axium. "It took about $6 million out of our accounts," he says. "We had three films in production. We wired them the payroll and it disappeared. So we had to use additional resources to cover that. It was a bad hit."Yari, using the phrase preferred by Tribune topper Sam Zell and a range of other dazed execs, describes all of the factors and marketplace conditions as "the perfect storm.""We lost our P&A," said Yari. "It's not a question of product. We have six films that were waiting to be released (Possession being one of them )." ~END of article
Q
What is the alternate ending?
A
Ryan is cremated and Roman doesn't kill Casey, she just moves away. Jess realizes that Roman is not Ryan... but that Roman really is trying to be like Ryan-he wants to be a better man for her. So it seems that she's willing to look the other way and continue on with him.
