Trivia
(at around 10 mins) When a woman spills an iced cappuccino on Lisa, the expression on Rachel McAdams's face is real surprise, not acted. She did not know that the beverage would be so cold.

In the Audio Commentary, Wes Craven mentions the many cameos that members from the crew can be seen throughout the movie, including writer Carl Ellsworth as a passenger in the terminal, Dreamworks marketing head Terry Press as the irate hotel guest, producer Marianne Maddalena as a passenger in First-class, and production manager Tina Anderson as Rebecca's mother. Craven also mentions that assistant property master Skip Crank, first assistant director Mark Cotone, and producer Jim Lemley make an appearance as the men on the fishing boat.

Carl Ellsworth worked with his college friend Dan Foos on the story for many years before they sold the script.

Goofs
In addition to the different planes shown, the final exterior shot as the plane is taking off is actually a 737 landing. The flaps are clearly in the landing configuration and the reverse thrusters are on.

Although the airplane interior is a "standard" Boeing 767 layout (2-3-2), row 18 is shown too far back in the plane. The row used in film should be numbered closer to 30 or so as these rows are closest to the back of the plane and the rear galley.

(at around 56 mins) When Lisa stabs Jack in the throat with the pen, she is seen stabbing it in and pulling it back out, yet in the next scene the pen is still in Jack's throat.

Q
For an assassin, Jackson was really bad and defeated quite easily.
A
Jackson was not the assassin; he was just the manager of the operations. He was the thinker. It was his job to set everything up. Lisa fought back. She wasn't physically stronger, but mentally stronger she was. She was more cunning than him in the end.
Q
What happened to Lisa? Why did she have that scar?
A
Lisa (Rachel McAdams) was raped. She says to Jackson (Cillian Murphy), "It happened in a parking lot...the scar. Two years ago, in the middle of the day. He held a knife to my throat the whole time. Ever since I've been trying to convince myself of one thing over and over..." Craven confirms this in the commentary.
Q
How much sex, violence, and profanity are in this movie?
A
For detailed information about the amounts and types of (a) sex and nudity, (b) violence and gore, (c) profanity, (d) alcohol, drugs, and smoking, and (e) frightening and intense scenes in this movie, consult the IMDb Parents Guide for this movie. The Parents Guide for Red Eye can be found here.
