Trivia
In the first movie where Al Pacino and Robert De Niro starred together, The Godfather: Part II (1974), they both played gangsters. In their second movie Heat (1995), Pacino was a cop, and DeNiro was a gangster. In this, their third movie together, they are both cops. This is also the first movie where they have extended interaction. They never shared a scene in The Godfather: Part II (1974) and in Heat (1995) they only had two scenes.

When Karen is scared by Turk ringing her buzzer, she pulls her firearm out of her purse, cocks the hammer with her thumb, and aims it at the door. Karen carries a Glock 19 pistol (9mm). Glock pistols do not have exposed hammers, and cannot be thumb-cocked.

Quotes
Rooster: He's gonna kill again. You know it, and I know it.

Rooster: So long, Tom.

Turk: My daughter called. She was upset about Rooster and worried about me. She asked me if I was likely to do something stupid, and I said 'like what, take anger management classes or retire?' I said I was going to do the same old thing I always do. She said 'Good, what else could you do?' I said 'Right.' A real chip off the old block, my daughter. She said I was a cop and a good one. Funny, Rooster said the same thing.
