Goofs
The film gives the impression that the 1956 film version of Carousel was a box-office hit. It was a critical success, and its soundtrack album was (and still is) a best seller, but the film itself was a box office flop upon release.
The film misleadingly gives the impression that the 1956 film version of "The King and I" premiered in 6-track stereo. It was not shown that way until its 1961 re-release.
The film gives the impression that Yul Brynner filmed The King and I after having had one lung removed. In fact, he did not have it removed until later in life, and he appeared in a stage revival while suffering from lung cancer.
