Trivia
While the detective is photoshopping Katies picture another police officer asks him about the Lumpkin case. One of the producers of the film is D. Scott Lumpkin.
There are clues to Jo's true identity scattered throughout the film. Jo recognizes Lexie's ambiguous drawing as flying fish without having to be told what it is, indicating that she's familiar with her style and preferences.Jo laments that "I never even made it across the Atlantic", and is not comforted when Katie says, "you still have time".At about 22 minutes in, Jo and Katie are walking. Jo walks behind some trees but doesn't come out the other side.-Jo echoes Alex' admonition to take lots of pictures.
Near the beginning of the film, an aerial view of the bus taking Katie to Atlanta is shown traveling on the Linn Cove viaduct in western North Carolina. The Linn Cove viaduct is part of the National Park Service's Blue Ridge Parkway and is closed to commercial vehicles including buses.
Katie/Erin manages to shoot her husband in the struggle and he dies on top of her, but when she gets up and runs over to Lexie and Alex, there is no blood or gore on her at all.
