ALisa commences the ritual to rid Mamuwalde of the vampire curse but is interrupted by Justin. Mamuwalde knocks him out and makes Lisa promise to start the ceremony over again. When more police begin descending upon them and, despite Lisa's protests, Mamuwalde kills them, Lisa realizes that she must stop him. As Mamuwalde prepares to bite Justin's neck, Lisa plunges a dart into the chest of the voodoo doll she was using in the ceremony. Blacula falls to the floor, writhing in agony. In the final scene, Mamuwalde rises to his feet, spreads his cape, and screams.

AThe bones of African Prince Mamuwalde (William Marshall), turned into a vampire over 200 years ago by Dracula himself, are resurrected by a voodoo ceremony and finds himself in the middle of a power struggle between Willis Daniels (Richard Lawson), the son and rightful heir of the recently deceased voodoo queen Mama Loa, and her adopted apprentice Lisa Fortier (Pam Grier). After turning Willis into his renfield, Blacula turns to Lisa to help him exorcise the 'demonic presence' that has taken over his body. Meanwhile, as the bloodless bodies begin to mount, Lisa's boyfriend Justin Carter (Don Mitchell), a collector of African art and friends with the police, begins to suspect that Mamuwalde might be a vampire.
