Trivia
When Kjell Sundvall was set to direct, he was drowning in letters from people that wanted to share their theories of the actual murder of Olof Palme. This led to a decision to not slip any information about the shooting of the film to the public.
The movie is based on a novel by an anonymous writer who used a pseudonym of John W. Grow. Both director Kjell Sundvall and producer Börje Hansson claims that they don't have a clue who that is.
This movie was originally in pre-production in 1993 when producer Börje Hansson led hands on the still un-released novel but wasn't able to find a proper director.
The assassin's villa is said to be in Valetta on Malta but from the surrounding mountains seen across the bay this is obviously incorrect and appears to be Cape Town, South Africa.
