John Travolta was once touted to going to be starring in the film version of A Chorus Line (1985) which was in development around the time. Travolta did not end up being in that movie, but what was ironic, was that this film had a New York Broadway chorus line storyline.

When Tony is pacing the lobby waiting for the phone call; tape is visible on the floor, marking where he is supposed to stop and turn around. In wide shots, the tape is gone.
