Trivia
Jackie (Mila Kunis) and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) were one of the show's main (if on-again/off-again) couples. In 2012, six years after the end of "That '70s Show," Kunis and Kutcher started dating in their real lives as well; in 2014, Kunis had the couple's first child.

Some songs playing during the scene changes, or bumpers, are snippets from famous '70s songs such as "Fly Like an Eagle" by Steve Miller Band, "Magic Man" by Heart, and "What Is" by Led Zeppelin.

The show was initially titled "Teenage Wasteland" and later "The Kids Are Alright". However, because both names were references to songs by The Who, legal issues prevented their use. As a result, the show was eventually announced as "Feelin' Alright", but because that name had few supporters, a search for a new title began. After noticing that audience members in focus groups would say, "I like that show about the '70s", or "I like that '70s show" it was eventually decided to simply call the series "That '70s Show".

Q
What is "Red's" real name?
A
As reavealed on the cast listing on That '70s show's main page on IMDB.com, it is listed as Reginald. At about 19:30 into Season 7 Episode 18, Kitty calls him Reginald Albert Forman.
Q
Why did Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher leave the show?
A
After 7 seasons, the actors just felt it was time to move on and do other projects. Their characters were written out in season 8 with Eric leaving for Africa and Kelso getting a job in Chicago. Both actors returned in their roles for the final episode of the series "That '70s Finale".
Q
How does the timeline of the show work?
A
The creators set the show in 1976, when trends and political ideologies had become firmly set for the decade, therefore truly giving it a 1970s feel. The idea that the series would carry socio-political undertones also necessitated a chain of social events which could influence the characters (such as the Equal Rights Amendment, the 1973 Oil Crisis, the presidencies of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, all of which occurred in the earlier 1970s).The show's longevity (8 seasons) necessitated a slow-down of the series' timeline. Over time this proved problematic from a narrative standpoint, as nearly every year featured a Thanksgiving and/or Christmas episode, and the actors aging in real life, but not nearly as much on the show.1976 - First 12 and the 23rd episode ("Grandma's Dead") of season 1.1977 - Rest of season 1 (except "Grandma's Dead") to season 3.1978 - End of the season 3 to season 6.1979 - Season 6 to Season 8.1980 - The very end of the finale episode ("That '70s Finale").
