Goofs

When Alice gets in the car at the end of the movie, the engine should have still been running. Danny either died or passed out behind the wheel (as evidenced by the stereo still playing) so it seems that he could not have turned off the car in the state he was in. Whether the car was in gear or park, the engine would still have been idling if it was an automatic transmission.

The Disappearance of Alice is a British crime thriller starring Gemma Arterton as Alice Creed, the estranged daughter and heiress of a wealthy buisnessman, whom is abducted in broad daylight by two former convicts Vic and Danny (Eddie Marsan and Martin Compston) and is imprisoned and held for ransom in an abandoned apartment, as they are holding Alice for ransom, in exchange for her father's money. But, what Vic is not aware, is that Danny is Alice's own boyfriend, and has staged the kidnapping, so Alice can gain her inhertience and intends to set her free and Alice plans her escape, as she plays off Vic and Danny.
