Trivia
While appearing on a Dutch TV talk show to help publicize her appearance as Daisy Duke in this movie, Jessica Simpson acted as a magician's assistant when she was sawed in half by magician Hans Klok in an illusion called "Clearly Impossible". In 1981, original Daisy Catherine Bach also took a turn at being a magician's assistant when she was sawed into six by magician David Copperfield in his fourth "The Magic of" TV special.

Goofs
When Daisy Duke is talking with Billy Prickett about the different sponsor logos on his car, the audio was clearly re-dubbed and doesn't match what she is really saying.

When the cousins are confronted in Atlanta by a group of men for having the rebel flag on their car, Luke's window is up about four inches. As the gang approaches the car, he begins to roll the window up from a completely down position, and he gets it to that approximate four inches before the aggressor puts his hands on it. When told to get out of the car, he slides out and sits up on the door sill without ever having rolled the window back down.

In the highway chase, the General Lee hits a Highway Patrol car and the General's bumper falls off. In the next scene, the bumper is back in place.

Uncle Jesse: Here's another one; drunk walks out of a bar and runs into a guy carrying an antique grandfather clock. The guy drops the clock, breaking into a million pieces. He looks at the drunk and says, "Why don't you watch where you're going?" The drunk looks at him and says, "Why don't you carry a wristwatch like everybody else?"

Q
What are the differences between the Theatrical Version and the Unrated Version?
A
For the lucrative PG-13 rating, the movie had to be cut in some scenes. All scenes with nudity or sexual allusions had to be censored, but also some of the pursuits were trimmed. On the release date in the USA, the Unrated Edition was immediately released together with the Theatrical Cut. A detailed comparison between both versions can be found here.
