On September 18 2013, Wikileaks released a mature version of the complete script to the public, because "the film is, from WikiLeaks' perspective, irresponsible, counterproductive and harmful." They also published a "Talking Points" memo "because it represents a frank internal appraisal of [the film] and what is wrong with it."

In both Brussels airport and the Liège railway station, we hear a Dutch voice with a Hollandic accent (Dutch as spoken in The Netherlands) speaking through the PA. This doesn't make sense as in Liège the language would be French, and in the airport, Dutch announcements would be with a Belgian accent (Flemish).

The caption says that Assange is in Tonsberg, Norway. The video is showing Aalesund, which is in a whole other part of the country.

Quotes

Julian Assange: If you want the truth, no one is going to tell you the truth, they're going to tell you their version. So if you want the truth, you have to seek it out for yourself. In fact that's where power lies, in your willingness to look beyond this story, any story. And as long as you keep searching, you are dangerous to them. That's what they're afraid of: you. It's all about you. And a little bit about me too.

Q

Q
Is the movie anti-Wikileaks?
A
The film is based on the two books "Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange and the Worlds Most Dangerous Website", as well as "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assanges War on Secrecy", both of which are critical of WikiLeaks and especially critical of Julian Assange. Assange himself stated that it is a "serious propaganda attack on WikiLeaks and the integrity of its staff, a 'lie built upon a lie' "; and as "fanning the flames for war on Iran" after reading an old copy of the script. Though Assange said that the film is a "hostile work", he also claimed that Cumberbatch who plays him in the film is "personally supportive" of the organization. Birgitta Jonsdottir, who was once a part of Wikileaks and was consulted by the film producers stated that "the Iran scene has been written out, plus the name has been changed". Jonsdottir also tweeted that Assange does not possess the latest version of the script. Bill Condon, the director stated that ''It may be decades before we understand the full impact of WikiLeaks and how its revolutionized the spread of information. So this film wont claim any long view authority on its subject, or attempt any final judgment. We want to explore the complexities and challenges of transparency in the information age and, we hope, enliven and enrich the conversations WikiLeaks has already provoked.'' Benedict Cumberbatch who portrays the Wikileaks founder stated that, "No matter how you cut it, he's done us a massive service, to wake us up to the zombie-like way we absorb our news".
