QIs there ever going to be a sequel?
ADuring the cast commentary on The Goonies DVD (2001) there is a quick exchange between director Richard Donner and Corey Feldman. Then it's never spoken of again.Donner: "I don't remember any of this. I think I have to go back. Let's re-shoot this."Feldman: "Aren't we about to?"Donner: "Yes, it's a possibility."During his promotional tour for his film No Country for Old Men (2007), Josh Brolin - Who played Brand in The Goonies - was asked if there was a Goonies sequel in the works. It seems that you got a different answer depending on his mood.In this article he seems to lean to a 'NO' answer:http://www.reelzchannel.com/movie-news/781/brolin-indicates-goonies-2-unlikelyBut in this interview he's more optimistic. Though it's obvious by the Meryl Streep reference that he's having some fun with the interviewer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-pBtmcByjcThere have been two video game spin-offs: The Goonies (1985) and The Goonies II (1985).
QWhy did the pirate skeleton have daggers in its eyesockets?
AWhen Mikey first tells Brand, Mouth, Data and Chunk, the story of One Eyed Willy. Mikey says that One Eyed Willy killed his men to stop any of them from stealing his treasure. Presumably, One Eyed Willy killed the pirate by stabbing him in both eyes with the two daggers.
QAre there deleted scenes on the DVD?
