One element missing is the rivalry between Genevieve Jeanson and Lynne Bessette.

On Saturday, August 24, 2014, during an initial screening of the film at the Angouleme Francophone Film Festival, the opening scene showing Laurence Leboeuf's character handling blood bags and engaging in doping caused so much discomfort among the audience that six people fainted, one was hospitalized, and over a dozen other people complained of not feeling well. The theater was evacuated for administration of first aid and to allow the theater's ventilation to be checked.
